Have you experienced the tragic
loss of a baby through miscarriage,
stillbirth or infant death?
This can be a lonely sorrow in a
culture that often is unwilling to acknowledge the value of a baby whose
life was brief.
Whether your loss is recent or
was some time ago,it can lead to
profound spiritual questions:
Did God let this happen?Why?
Where is my baby now?
What if my baby wasn't baptized?
Where was God?
You might be angry with God,and you
might question whether God cares
about you and your baby or even
whether God exists at all.
If you would like some spiritual
support on your journey as well as
comfort and fellowship from other
grieving parents,you are warmly
invited to be part of God's Children.

MEETINGS:God's Children meets the first Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 1900 Wellesley Avenue, St. Paul.Minnesota.USA
13th May 2006
What God`s Children is doing!
God's Children is a new Catholic-centered
ministry sponsored by the Archdiocese of
St. Paul and Minneapolis and formed by
parents who seek to grow in faith while
providing a nurturing environment that
integrates prayer and grief.
Gatherings include prayer,a brief talk
on the topic of the evening, and opportuni-
ties for parents to share their experiences
and reflections.
Because women and men sometimes
grieve differently and can have different
concerns,fathers and mothers also will
have opportunities to meet separately.
Masses of remembrance also are planned to
formally honor your baby. Many parents
appreciate the opportunity to speak freely
of their baby. You are welcome to share as
much or as little as you wish, and you are
welcome to attend as frequently or infre-
quently as you would like.
